Publication of “Sunday”

My short story Sunday appears in Longshot Island 10: Past Futures, out now. Sunday is a ghost story in which a melancholy spirit is haunted by her own memories and by the modern-day people building a life in her old home. It was first published back in 2017 in the anthology Oxford’s Haunted (Oxford Writing Circle Press), and is now reprinted in this compact collection along with five other stories fitting the Past Futures theme.

Past Futures is available now in print (978-1970134315) and free online (Sunday is here).

Publication of “is there a sound?”

Way back at the tail end of 2019, before, you know, everything, Paris Lit Up included is there a sound? in Paris Lit Up Magazine 7. It’s my first poem to be published, and I’m really happy that this is where it found a home; I’ve had a special place in my heart for Paris Lit Up since meeting some of the community during their 2017 UK tour, and I particularly love how gorgeous the annual magazines are.

I finally got to hold a copy in my hands this summer, after the first print run sold out, then 2020 (enough said) delayed its journey across the Channel. It was more than worth the wait, look how beautiful.

PLU7 is available in print (ISBN 979-1094649091) and eBook format now.
